Manti Pageant

Last Saturday, we drove up to Manti so we could watch the pageant. Neither Kelly or I have seen it since we were little so we thought it would be fun to take the kids & watch it. The morning we were to leave, Ez just threw up out of no where. Then fell asleep for a few hours. We decided if we should still go up but we had a hotel already so we decided after he slept we would leave. He looked nautious the entire drive up but once we got there - he seemed to be much better. We went & visited my sister, Lisa, & her fam in Ephraim. Then headed to the vendors & food court. Kelly was in heaven.....he loves food courts like this - all sorts of food to choose from.

 The weather was perfect but Ezra was freezing after eating his snow cone so he wanted to bundle all up. We waited in our seats for about an hour and a half before the pageant started & the kids did awesome, waiting patiently.  Remember back in the day & you could bring blankets & just lay wherever to watch? Well now - they have thousands of the church metal chairs all set up - not very comfy!

We brought lots of snacks & toys & books to keep them entertained but they just needed the ipod & leapster & they were happy.

 Ezra didn't really care to watch the pageant. He wanted to play the leapster during but I put it away & he just sat on my lap, occassionally nodding off {along with me - man I was tired that night}. Adde LOVED it & got very into it asking all sorts of questions the entire time. She sat on Kelly's lap & I could hear him explaining things & talking to her through out it - it was very sweet. It was an enjoyable small weekend getaway. I love spending time with just us.  & the drive home was pouring rain the entire time with no blue sky until of course we come about 45 minutes to St. George & then we hit 90 degree weather. How is that possible when it is raining across the rest of the state but our little corner? Ridiculous.
