Kolob

This last weekend, we went camping to Kolob reservoir. The drive there is amazing with views of Zion all around you. Russ, Suz & Tami all left early afternoon & were able to stake out an awesome site for us which was great because it was crazy busy with all sorts of campers. 

We camped here 2 years ago with the Lamoreaux's & Ezra totally remembered all the caterpillars. So as soon as we got there - he was on the hunt for them. Dallin caught probably 50 & put them in his bug catcher.

 For about 1/2 a day, Ez sat by this log & just played....he's so easily entertained. As you can see, we had a beautiful view of the reservoir.

 & Adde did lots of this

 Sadie was the biggest pest to Phoenix the whole time & if she wasn't pestering him she'd find someone else to {that is if Dallin wasn't bugging her - she learns from the best}. But the kids had a lot of fun exploring the mountains & make believing all sorts of games. It was fun being able to spend that time with family. There was some fishing tried. No luck. There was some duck feeding tried. But the ducks ran away. There were hikes. No running water. A bathroom a mile away. Lots of wind blowing. & lots of sitting around & just being lazy with eating lots of yummy food & treats. It was a great time.
