It was really hard not being in St. George this year for the fourth of July. Ester always makes a big deal of this holiday & does a fun treasure hunt, decorating shirts, BBQ & swimming. We almost went down. Then Larissa called & we decided we would just stay & spend it with my family. We spent the day with the Lloyd's. We went swimming in the day for a few hours, enjoying lunch at the pool. Then we went & saw Brave which was so cute. & Ruthie was a champ during the movie. Probably won't be able to do that much longer. Then we headed over to Larissa's for a BBQ & watched fireworks all around them. It was a great evening & I'm glad we stayed. We've got to start doing our own traditions up here now & it can sometimes be hard, knowing what everyone is doing down south, but at the same time fun & exciting coming up with our own little family plans.
