The kids slept until 8:00...they actually woke up because they heard me getting ready. They got to rip down the wrapping paper & run downstairs to see all the presents under the tree.
Time to unwrap presents! The kids like looking through first to see what is there & then we started from youngest to oldest. Ruthie didn't get much. Santa brought her a stroller, a bumbo & some fun stocking stuffers. Each year we give the kids an outfit {Ezra tells me that is so boring} & Adde & Ruthie's matched this year!
Adde got the American Girl bed for her Julie doll, the flute and stand, a fridge & stove for Julie & a DS Lite with TONS of games.
Ezra got a working tool bench, a darth vader alarm clock, the imaginext ninja castle, DS Lite with TONS of games
This is pretty much what she did the whole time. Just watching us.
I got spoiled....Kelly always does too much. I'm the last person in the world to have a smart phone - & he surprised me with an iphone. He also made me a huge frame, gave me a program to download & edit all my camcorder stuff & him & the kids gave me a shark steam mop that I am loving!
Kel got a blu ray for our bedroom with some movies to go with it, a few tools, clothes, a ladder. We're pretty exciting old people.
Testing the bumbo out
After all the fun of opening presents, we called grandma & grandpa and they came over to eat breakfast with us before everyone rushed to get ready for church. I stayed home but everyone went to Ester & Lester's ward. It's so fun to have so much family family close by to enjoy the holidays with.
