The kids did not leave the chicks side for the first hour & they want to constantly be out there making sure they are okay. Adde named her's Sallie (the yellow chick), Ezra named his Alec, after his little 1 year old best buddie. Me & Kel named ours Lucy. What a fun Easter surprise. Kelly & I are hoping that they grow to be big & lay us some eggs. You can just let them graze in your backyard & they eat the bugs & fertilize the ground. Please stay around long enough chickies.
Kelly's little surprise
We came home to a fun surprise last night. The kids & I had been gone all day visiting & swimming with my parents - who are down here right now - then went straight to Kelly's softball game. Kelly said he had a surprise for the kids when we got home but who knew it would be something so fun!

so fun! My girls are sooo excited to come see them :)
That's the perfect Easter surprise. Good Jerb Kelly. Happy Easter!
Farmer Kelly. Ha! That is awesome. You have land, now you have livestock. Next, I expect you to make your own yogurt. You would have fit right into the College of Natural Resources up at USU.
Awwww fun! If you ever have any chicken questions, hit me up. We love our chickens!
