Easter Weekend

We started our Easter by going to the Santa Clara Easter egg hunt. It was drizzling & a little bit cold but the kids still had fun.

Adde only looked for the golden wrapped candy because they said if you find a golden egg you win a prize. Wrong thing.

We went to Ester & Lester's for our annual West family Easter. We had a big Easter dinner that was yummy, the kids had on cute matching outfits that Ester actually made this year (I think they're my favorite ones yet), the kids dyed eggs, ate yummy cupcakes & had their easter egg hunt. By then, it had stopped raining & we were able to do the egg hunt outside.

Pretty crazy & hectic trying to get the kids to take a picture with grandma & grandpa. It took quite a few tries & this was the best one I got. Adde was being really stubborn & didn't want in while all the other kids were waiting.

Adde & Ezra's Easter baskets. The Easter bunny hid them along with eggs all over the house & when they woke up they were running around trying to find both. Adde was so cute - she wanted to leave a carrot out for the easter bunny - so of course he had to come & take a big bite out of it.

Adde was super excited when she found her basket. She got a new swimsuit & the baby that swims - which she has really wanted.

Ezra also got a swimsuit & some toys. His favorite is the Kung Fu Panda figurines & takes them everywhere with him.

Ezra was not cooperating with trying to get pictures taken. He kept saying "hide" because he was hiding before we found him playing with his toys so noone would bug him. We had to get a few from him before we let him go hide again.

Alot of my family was in town for Easter & so it was fun being able to spend it with both families. Everyone came over here for Easter dinner & then we had a Easter egg hunt for all the kids. Let's just say my kids got WAY too much candy.

We had a really good Easter & hope everyone did too. But I'm especially grateful for the atonement & our Savior. It's been fun teaching Adde about the Savior & her retelling it to us & other people & what she learned at church. She's definately soaking in everything we tell her.
