Then off to bowling we went with the West family.

The kids were on the bumper lane right next to us. It was so fun to see all the kids bowl. Ezra was a pooper though - he wanted ZERO help but couldn't even lift the ball. He got booted real quick so Adde took his spot & got to go twice each round.
Logan, me, Rach & Makayla

Grandpa Lester

Ryan & RJ think they are really good bowlers (RJ mostly goes for speed - he thinks he's strong. check out his new blog: www.strongrj.blogspot.com)

Adde Jane throwing the ball down (really, really, really, really, really slow) Sometimes the guy had to get the ball because it stopped before it even hit the pins.

The kids, mostly Logan, kept winning drinks. Logan & Abbey taking a drink break.

We did something totally different for Christmas Eve. It was my family's turn for Christmas this year - but it's getting too hard for Santa to take everything up north & bring it back. Also, we wanted Christmas at our own home which would be a first. Instead - Tami & Quinn came here for dinner & the kids did a gift exchange. Russ & Suz flaked out on us at the last minute because her parents ended up coming down.
It was definately different than what we are used to but it was still fun. I'm glad we had some family down here to spend it with. Later, we drove around to look at lights & we opened the door to see snow falling!! Pretty unusual for St. George but so exciting.

The kids opened their Christmas jammies. Kel getting a little snuggle from Adde.

Boston drew Ezra's name. His gift was such a hit. He wouldn't hang out with us the rest of the night because he was playing with his new tools & truck.

Adde & Dallin are pretty good at doing the prom poses.

Sadie & Ez doing a little lovin'

CHRISTMAS MORNING!! Santa came at 8:30 to our house because all the kids were sound asleep & usually never wake up. At 9:30, Kelly & I were getting ready for bed & Adde came running in screaming, "Santa came!! He ate our cookies & left Christmas socks." She was SO excited she couldn't fall back to sleep until after midnight. We had to wake her up in the morning so Ezra wouldn't start ripping everything open waiting for her.
Ez playing with his new Woody & Buzz. He still hasn't let Buzz out of his site.

Adde got the Baby Alive doll she asked Santa for.

Daddy opening some presents, too.

Ezra on his new trike. Santa actually had to take it back & get something not so tipsy. He fell on the tile a few times trying to get on it because it was so tipsy.

Adde on her princess bike. She was so excited to see that sitting out when she came out at 9:30pm.

Grandma & Grandpa West came over to our house for a yummy breakfast & then we went to the Bell's for some visiting. Then off to the West's for the day. Ester always has a yummy buffet sitting out all day & the kids get to open presents from grandma & grandpa & cousins.
Ezra got a sweet cape from Isabel (or Lexi?)

Adde got "Lucky" the dog from Grandma & Grandpa.

Ezra got rocket from Little Einsteins from grandma & grandpa.

We had such a fun Christmas this year. We love spending time with our family, especially with Kelly having all that time off. It's also such a good time to reflect on our Savior and all that he has done for us. It's neat being able to teach our children about the Savior's birth & seeing them understand that Christmas isn't all about gifts & Santa. Adde was able to be Mary at the West family party & she was so sweet holding baby Jesus (a.k.a. baby LIly) Kelly & I just thought she was the sweetest Mary & how cute it was that she actually knew who Mary was & that she needed to hold baby Jesus. We hope everyone else had a fun & safe Christmas, too.

cute christmas!! kaitlyn got that baby alive doll a couple of years ago and just a little fyi, clean out the mouth really good or the stuff hardens and never goes away!
I always love your posts. I couldn't stop giggling at Adde's 9:30 pm apperance...."Santa came"...you're lucky she went back to sleep at all. I'm glad you had a fabulous Christmas and at home too. Have a Happy NEW yEAR!!
You didn't tell me that Adde woke up right after you had put the gifts out! That is too funny! She probably heard presents being put under the tree but was too scared to go out and see Santa standing there. At least that's how I was when I was little. Cut pics! That is fun to go bowling too! We really wanted to come down for New Years Eve, but Kenyon was up the night before throwing up, so we didn't think that would be such a great idea! I hope you guys had fun!
What a fun Christmas! It's nice to start your own family traditions and do stuff with your own little family. The kids got some fun stuff. I love that Adde came out so early!
So i think I am ready to change my blog, when you have time.
I know sorry I didn't call. My phone doesn't work in St. George so I left it home. I am programming your phone number into tj's phone so next time we will have it. We are planning a trip to los vegas at the end of march. We are going with some friends but maybe on the way up or back we can stop and meet for lunch. It has been way to long since we have seen eachother!!
