We then went over to the Steel's (Ester's sisters house). It's amazing to see how many kids get added every year between our 2 families - they sure are growing fast. We ate a delicious turkey dinner, followed by hitting the pinata (kelly said they've hit a pinata on Christmas eve since he was little - a fun little tradition) & then our nativity. This year, Ezra really wanted to be baby Jesus (or toddler Jesus) & since there were no other babes he got the task. He was hilarious. Once he got there - he laid on the floor in front of Mary & Joseph the entire time we reenacted the nativity. This boy is seriously classic.
Adde was Mary last year - so she thought she was going to do it again so I wasn't sure how she was going to take it when I said let's let someone else be Mary. But she was just as excited to be an angel - especially since Abbey was going to be an angel with her. These two are so sweet. Love them.

so Santa comes every year to our Christmas eve party & the last 3 years in a row - my kids have run up to him right as he walking through the door & gives him big hugs. Ezra ran right up to him - so he got to sit on his lap first & tell him he wants a transformer.

went home to let the kids open their christmas jammies & slippers. they've been waiting to open them all week because I said they could open one present on christmas eve. Adde was a little too excited when she opened them just because she had been so anxious to open anything.
Adde & Ezra's letters & cookies & milk to Santa. Then the kids were off to bed - well it took a little convincing to finally get them to sleep. They slept in our room so they wouldn't come out in the middle of the night.

The kids were so cute sleeping we had to take a picture of it. Ezra woke up at 6:30 to go to the bathroom - & he knew it was christmas & wouldn't go back to sleep so we woke Adde up at 7:00. I just whispered in her ear it was christmas & let's see if Santa came. She didn't even look at me - she hopped up & ran right into the family room & started screaming he came!!

Adde got Zippity - a leapster game that hooks up to the tv. She's had a lot of fun with it.
But she was more excited when she opened up all of her 3 Musketeers Barbie/Prince/movie & carriage. Grandma Ester surprised her with the dress, mask & shoes. She's been funny playing a musketeer herself.
& Ez got Optimus Prime - just like he asked for & a few other transformers.
Kelly opening up a present. His christmases are always very exciting - every year - shirts, ties & shoes for work. He did get a couple other things but clothes mostly.
Yea for my new jacket. I got lots of fun clothes & accesories & shoes. & I also got a rug for my front entry & LOVE it.
at the end - the kids opened up their stockings & loved that they got more little presents to unwrap. But our big family gift this year is DISNEYLAND which we will be going next Tuesday & I think I can't wait more than the kids & Kel surprised us with staying at the Grand Hotel. So can't wait!! It was a wonderful Christmas & hope you all had a great one too.
